I was amazed at the work of God. I was praying one night, about three or four days before yesterday's miracle. I was saying, "God, forgive me, I need help with this...." and my Lord came through for me. God is great, my friends, God is great.
Yesterday, I had this feeling that God was telling me something. I asked for some sort of sign, yet I already knew that I had to do this.
You see, the weekend before Thanksgiving (2010) my beloved left for boot camp. I thought I'd never hear his voice again. I thought nothing was going to be alright.
Back to yesterday, I had a feeling that I should call his number, which I thought was disconnected. I called once to see if the number was there. It began ringing and I quickly hung up. It took me another few minutes of reading my Faith Girlz NIV Holy Bible to build the courage back up to call my beloved's number. His brother answered. I was like, "Well, it looks like I found someone to talk to." He offered me the chance to speak to my beloved. I took the chance and heard his soft, sad, almost hopeless sounding voice. I was disappointedf, but I felt blessed. Never again will I doubt my Lord's ablility to come through for me.
This is how I start this new Year of 2011. I'm going to be closer to God this year, and share my story with all of you.
